Pixibel Skin Care Company Launches Eco Friendly Beauty Products
Pixibel, a skincare company based in St. Louis, MO, launched their e-commerce store on November 8, 2011, featuring a unique skincare line of eco-friendly products with food-grade oil ingredients, botanical extracts, herbal infusions and plant-based essential oils.
Co-founder Gabriela Popa, a European-trained pharmacist with a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences and extensive R&D experience in pharmaceuticals, created Pixibel to provide fresh skincare products derived from time-tested European formulations. “Our products rely on European tradition and are fueled by American innovation. More and more, consumers are asking for products that are fresh, safe, efficacious and fun. Our products are suitable for a broad range of skin types, are pH-balanced and contain customizable levels of ingredients. They carry stylish, delicate plant-based fragrances that are 100% natural.”
“In addition,” Popa continued, “we produce our creams and cleansers in small batches, and thus offer our customers the freshest products possible. We use plant-derived, 100% natural essential oils as preservatives, so no synthetics are used to extend the shelf life of a cream or lotion,” she added.
The collection, which retails from $15 to $18.50, includes day creams such as “Jojoba Grape Meringue” and “Liquid Veil” and night creams such as “No, Time!” Body products, among which cleansers and foot creams, are also available.
