Mango Madness Skin Care Paraben Free Microdermabrasion Cream
Anti-aging skin care product retailer Mango Madness Skin Care, Inc. has announced a new microdermabrasion face cream for home use formulated without parabens or other harmful ingredients.
Parabens are widely used as preservatives in many consumer products but several studies have implicated them in women’s health issues, including breast cancer. Scientists in Japan have also discovered that some parabens can actually accelerate skin aging in the presence of ultraviolet light.
Microdermabrasion is a popular technique used by spas and dermatologists to remove the top layer of dead skin cells from the epidermis using tiny exfoliation crystals to scrub away some of the old skin. The popularity of this technique is due not only to the resulting smoother, softer skin, but also the effects of increasing cell turnover rates. A longer term benefit is that the increased cellular activity invigorates skin cells, thereby improving skin health and helping to create new collagen. It is collagen that provides the structural support and firmness that characterize firm, taut, smooth, youthful skin.
“The benefit of microdermabrasion cream sold at the retail level is that the procedure can be performed at home without the need to schedule an expensive trip to the spa or doctor’s office,” explained Rob Morrison, spokesman for Mango Madness Skin Care. “The home microdermabrasion user also controls the intensity and frequency of the microdermabrasion procedures, unlike in a clinical setting. Women prefer that,” he added.
In addition to being formulated without parabens, the new microdermabrasion cream contains no talc, phthalates, sulfates, formaldehyde, or other harmful ingredients. The company performs no animal testing and all ingredients are animal cruelty free.
Mango Madness Skin Care manufactures a complete line of paraben-free skin care products including hyaluronic acid based moisturizers; peptide and retinol based wrinkle creams; glycolic acid, amber based and microdermabrasion type exfoliators; a vitamin K based under eye cream; gentle skin cleansers; and a new broad spectrum sun screen. The company recently opened its newest retail store at CityPlace in West Palm Beach, Fla.

There sure are a lot of anti-aging skin products out in the market nowadays. However, I’m glad that we can get to choose from a variety of great personal care products such as these. I wouldn’t mind trying this out as long as it’s a quality product.

Hello, do you have references for these two statements:
“Parabens are widely used as preservatives in many consumer products but several studies have implicated them in women’s health issues, including breast cancer.”
“Scientists in Japan have also discovered that some parabens can actually accelerate skin aging in the presence of ultraviolet light.”
I would like more information if possible.
Thank you.
