ModiFace MakeUp
ModiFace, a leading provider of virtual makeover technologies, today announced the availability of the newest version of the popular “MakeUp” iPhone application. Already the number one virtual makeup application on the iPhone, the enhanced MakeUp offers fresh features including the ability to try on “instant” looks–a pre-packaged collection of 10 of the most popular cosmetic looks today, including cat eyes, sun kissed, bridal and Halloween.
Originally launched in November of 2009, MakeUp is a free beauty tool that allows users to virtually try on different types of makeup, including mascara, foundation, blush and eye shadow, in hundreds of shades from leading brand names like Revlon, Cover Girl, Lancome and Clinique. On the new version of MakeUp, users can now use their own Facebook photo, iPhone album or iPhone camera photo to test out the most popular cosmetic looks on themselves. A demo of the new MakeUp can be seen online here: http://modiface.com//?ilab=makeup.
“Every woman has a drawer full of makeup purchases that never get used because the color didn’t look quite right on her. The MakeUp app was designed to let women see what shades work best for them, before committing to the purchase,” said Dr. Parham Aarabi, founder and chief executive officer of ModiFace. “And since make up changes with every season, with our instant looks, women can now try on the trends of the time and determine which ones are right for them.”
The application is now available for download from the U.S. iTunes store at http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/makeup/id314603460. MakeUp is also available for download in nearly 50 other countries including U.K., Britain, Australia, France, Germany, Canada, Japan, Korea, and Italy. Since the launch of the first MakeUp app, it has been downloaded by more than 200,000 users. For more information on MakeUp or ModiFace’s other virtual makeover tools, please visit www.modiface.com.
