What is glycation?

La Roche-Posay DERM AOX is said to be the first anti-glycation/anti-oxidant anti-aging skin care product. Dermal Renu has been in the marketplace for six (6) years with a system that contains four different proven anti-glycation ingredients to address this very complex process. It is a more robust system that addresses all the causes of skin aging. The information is to extensive to mention here so I suggest www.dermalrenu.com
“La Roche-Posay DERM AOX is said to be the first anti-glycation/anti-oxidant anti-aging skin care product” I agree with Nicholas above. But how effective are these? I know that the process is suppose to be slowed down, but does it really work?
At $55/1 oz I’m thinking this isn’t really a mass market skin care product and in any case, it’s not the first to combine an antioxidant with an anti-glycation active. We’ve been out for three years now with Nexcare Skin Fortifying Cream that includes vitamins C and E antioxidants and vitamin B6 known for it’s anti-AGE activity. Additionally this contains horse chestnut seed extract for vein tonicity, said to reduce the appearance of varicose veins, all in a natural vegetable oil base. Available at Target for $12.99/8 oz - some 30 times less per ounce than Derm AOX.
