Newell Rubbermaid’s Beauty & Style global business unit today announced the launch of Goody OuchlessFlex, a new line of comfort-flex hair fashions, including pressure-free headbands, updo barrettes and claw clips, designed to eliminate the discomforts sometimes associated with hair accessories.
A recent survey found a majority of women report experiencing discomfort caused by hard or ill-fitting hair accessories, ranging from snags to headaches. Overcoming this is relatively simple with soft accessories like elastics and headscarves, but it is more of a challenge with accessories like headbands, barrettes and claw clips, which are typically made of harder materials. Goody OuchlessFlex addresses this consumer issue with a specially-formulated, ultra-flexible plastic that can still hold its shape and wearers’ hairstyles.
