Ancient Minerals Magnesium Gel PlusLL Magnetic Clay, Inc., creator of the Ancient Minerals topical magnesium product line, is pleased to announce the availability of Ancient Minerals Magnesium Gel Plus. After nearly 2 years of development, the gel form offers those with training in tissue manipulation as well as ordinary individuals a targeted method of delivering high amounts of pure magnesium ions directly into skin tissue.

There’s no doubt the body needs magnesium. Several hundred biochemical responses rely on this essential mineral in order to function properly. From helping to support a healthy immune system to regulating blood pressure and metabolizing energy, magnesium is essential to good health. Yet too many people don’t get enough from the foods they eat, resulting in a deficiency.

When supplemented via the skin, Ancient Minerals Magnesium Gel Plus restores cellular magnesium levels quickly. The gel helps in the relief of muscle spasms, sports pain and arthritis pain. The inclusion of certified organic aloe vera extract helps encourage healthy skin which in turn helps reduce scarring and the effects of aging. The gel also helps in healing various skin conditions including acne, psoriasis, eczema, and dermatitis, when applied on the skin.

Like other products in the Ancient Minerals magnesium product line, Magnesium Gel Plus derives its therapeutic healing qualities from 250-million-year-old naturally-occurring ultra pure magnesium chloride that is solution-mined from the ancient Zechstein Sea. When asked why the company goes to such depths for this important ingredient, Judy Phillips, President, explains, “Well protected for the last 250 million years, Ancient Minerals is the most pure naturally occurring magnesium chloride available in the world. This source has never been available until recently.”

The people at http://www.puremagoil.com have both the Pacific Magnesium Oil and the prehistoric Magnesium Oil at about 1/2 the cost of other companies and their Purity is exceptional. I am very please with their products and their Prices.

I tried the Prehistoric Magnesium Oil from http://www.puremagoil.com and it is half the price… Plus I added 1/3 Aloe Vera oil to the 2/3 Prehistoric Magnesium Oil and it does just GREAT.

I buy the Ancient Minerals brand because they have their lab test posted right on their website. It’s pure, and everyone knows it. They’re customer service is amazing and they’re the original, not some knock-off. I looked at the puremagoil people… and I don’t trust people that make false claims on their website. If you’re asking yourself “what false claims?” either email me, or do some research. Society can no longer claim ignorance with so much information at our fingertips.

Would be nice to know how to email you Eva. The Ancient Minerals brand is very expensive. I’m trying to figure out what is the best, most cost effective mag oil. Never tried it but hearing so many sing it’s praises. Swanson Vitamins has one from apparently the same source but the main questions are, what are the dilution rates, and how much magnesium is truly in a fluid ounce? Frustrating that none of these companies will tell you that info. PureMagOil does, but you are saying certain claims they make are false…please let me know as I’m trying to make sense of all this. I am doing research, and either I don’t know what the hell I’m doing, or there is too much information to get to the real facts.

    EVA -

You said to email you if I wanteed information about the false claims that the purmagoil people are making. I have been checking out three products… one from the puremagoil people, one from Swanson Vitamins, and one from Ancient Minerals. I’d like to go with the Swanson people as the cost is much lower, but there’s no way I can know how many mg. is in each oz. If you can, please email me at NoneAreGood @ gmail.com.

Or, put the info here :)

    Thank you!
    Tamara

Sorry, I forgot to check back until recently. My apologies.

The explanation to the puremagoil mention is that their claim regarding the amount of Mg in their product is laughable, especially considering that you can’t have that amount of Mg in the hexahydrate. Don’t believe me? Look up the chemical properties of Magnesium Chloride Hexahydrate (I’ve emailed them about this, by the way). Not only that but their claim that they don’t “dilute” their product with pure water… what are they saying? That’s what the brine is - a dilution of the solid form. It’s how the product is mined. And thirdly, I don’t trust a company that claims to have “Permian Era” brine from somewhere in the USA and doesn’t mention where. I’ve googled and only found a couple of possible mining sites, but I sincerely doubt it since those Permian Era sites aren’t even being mined for Mg. I say “Prove It”. Don’t you think if there was some U.S. Permian Era ultra pure magnesium mine available, that everyone else would be jumping on that bandwagon… yet, no one has ever heard of it?

Swansons. Well, I can’t say yay or nay on them, simply because I don’t want to switch brands when I’m happy with what I have. However, I can’t help but think that with all of the companies out there carrying magnesium products, how else would they get THAT cheap without watering down the product? Sure… it probably comes from the same place so they can slap that label on it. But I’m still sticking with what I said earlier… if it’s the same thing, why don’t they have the lab results posted??
***Here’s a good example everyone can relate to (hopefully): Hardware manufacturers create completely different products for Home Depot than they do for Ace Hardware, but slap the same label on them. Why? Because Home Depot sells at lower prices, therefore supplies a lower quality to it’s consumers to make up the cost difference. Many people don’t know this, of course, so they go for the ladder that’s $10 cheaper, but ends up breaking within the year. If they had purchased the ladder with the additional components and better quality from Ace Hardware, they would still have it to this day. The same things happen between Walmart and Target. So what’s going to be different in the health industry??

If you’re worried about cost, don’t buy the smaller bottle of oil, instead go with the half gallon. It’s half the cost of buying the equivalent amount in the smaller bottle. I use it daily anyway, so why not by 64 ounces instead of 8?
