The Center for Oral Health is pleased to announce the winners of this year’s competition for the best home teeth whitening products.
This past year has seen the introduction of many lightening kits that allow the best teeth whitening one can achieve at home; for a huge cost savings over visits to a cosmetic dentist. The complete kits we reviewed offer a powerful lightening experience that is easily achievable in the comfort of your home.
Center for Oral Health director Ron Edwards commented that “We had a large selection of teeth whitening products to choose from; but in the end we eliminated all but three. These three products are definitely the best and most powerful lightening treatments available for home use. An added benefit is that you can try each of these products for free”.

There are three main types of home teeth whitening systems available - strips, brush-ons, and kits. Brush-ons are the easiest to use as you can apply them and go about your daily life while it works to lighten your teeth. Strips can be either ones you apply for short periods; or stronger ones that are left on all night for example. They have a stronger effect than brush-ons; and users should try and avoid getting the active chemical on their gums as they may lightly irritate those with sensitive gums. Finally, Kits are the most powerful home treatment available; and can work even for people with extensive staining. Be sure to follow the instructions carefully with any of these products.

Tooth whiteners are primed to be the next deodorant: a once-optional form of personal hygiene that’s now simply an obligation. It’s only a matter of time because the more of us who get whitened, the grungier your unwhitened teeth will appear in contrast. Man, look at those choppers! Nasty!
