HBA Global Announces Finalists for International Package Design Awards
HBA Global Expo, the leading product development event for the cosmetics, fragrance, personal care and well-being industries, has announced the finalists of its Annual International Packaging Design Awards (IPDA). From among these finalists, Category Winners and the Grand Award will be selected by the IPDA Advisory Committee, and announced at an Industry Awards Dinner being held Tuesday night, September 9th at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York, NY.

The Industry Awards Ceremony promises to be a highlight of the HBA Global Expo, a three-day conference and exposition taking place from September 9, 10, 11, 2008 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York. Along with announcing the IPDA Category Winners and Grand Award, a Packaging Executive of the Year, David Prague of L’Oreal, will also be honored at the dinner on September 9th. Selected by hundreds of the industry’s top packaging suppliers, this prestigious award pays tribute to the executive who has demonstrated years of devotion to packaging excellence and innovation.
Also honored at the dinner, will be the Marketing Executive of the Year, Catherine Walsh of Coty, the Product Development Executive of the Year, Dr. Robert Pierce of Colgate-Palmolive, and the announcement of the New Product R&D Technical Team among these finalists, Nu Skin’s Tru Face Essence Ultra; Olay’s Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream; and Tarte’s Vitamin Infused Lipstick and Lipgloss with BORBA Nutraceuticals. Bobbie Thomas, NBC Today Show Style Editor will serve as Master of Ceremonies for the event.
During HBA Global Expo, the IPDA finalist packages will be displayed in a special exhibit area on the show floor sponsored by Happi and Beauty Packaging Magazines.
