VOGUE Model Chantal Sutherland Joins Mistura Beauty as Spokeswoman for 6-in-1 Beauty Solution
Mistura Beauty has announced that it has signed celebrity jockey and VOGUE model Chantal Sutherland as the new face for their Mistura product line. “We are absolutely delighted” says Andi Marcus, President and CEO of Mistura Inc. “Ms. Sutherland is a wonderful role model for women and brings with her an incredible sense of style and natural beauty in keeping with our branding. Her modeling experience and global appeal drew us to her” notes Marcus, “and the uniqueness of her profession aligned well with our demographic. We look forward to a very successful partnership”.
Sutherland began her career in 2000, winning her first race on October 9 of that year, aboard Silver Bounty. Aside from her two Sovereigns, other Woodbine highlights include a 124-win season in 2002, two Queen’s Plate mounts, in 2001 and 2002 and contesting the Grade 1, Pattison Canadian International in 2004, where she became only the third woman to ever ride in the turf classic. Recently, Chantal had a race day to remember when she rode four winners, including Executive Flight in her first stakes victory since 2003, at Toronto’s Woodbine Racetrack and enjoyed a memorable day on August 9th with five victories in the Duchess Stakes. A two-time Sovereign Award winner as Canada’s top apprentice jockey in 2001 and 2002, Sutherland said her recent wins are the most since she won five in one day in 2003. “My season is going fantastic this year,” she said, adding that she doesn’t like to dwell on the standings. “I think I’m about seventh right now.”
Mistura Beauty launched their product line in March to the delight of makeup enthusiasts worldwide. Their signature “6-in-1 Beauty Solution(TM)” is a multi-functioning single-shade formula that works on all skin types and colors. “We have been overwhelmed with the response” says Marcus, adding “it truly is the most incredible product of its kind on the market right now. Sutherland was voted one of People magazine’s “100 Most Beautiful” in 2006, was featured in Sports Illustrated and worked with famed celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz for a 4-page spread in American VOGUE.
