Mineral Makeup Tips

Have you found the latest craze: mineral makeup? Many women are turning to mineral makeup for a beautiful face. It is little surprise that mineral makeup is so popular. Mineral makeup is gentle and ideal for every complexion. From the young face to the old face, mineral makeup makes everyone look beautiful. This makeup goes on the skin very lightly, just like a feather’s touch. It is also ideal for sensitive skin of many types. If you have ever been irritated by other types of makeups that are full of additives or chemicals, mineral makeup is ideal for you. All that is in mineral makeup is minerals!

However, many women wonder when they see the tiny tubs of mineral makeup — “how do I put this makeup on?” It is actually a lot easier than it seems at first. The biggest “secret” to applying your mineral makeup is using the appropriate brush and then tapping your brush lightly in the makeup.

To wear mineral makeup you’ll want to invest in a Kabuki brush. This is a short, stubby brush with many soft bristles. This brush simply soaks up the mineral makeup to deliver it to your skin. You can expect to pay an average of at least ten dollars for a good Kabuki brush. However, you can easily use your Kabuki brush to apply all of your mineral makeup — from your foundation, blush and eye shadow!

Begin by finding the ideal colors for your complexion. For your foundation colors, most women select three complimentary colors, one “base” color and two others that highlight their skin nicely. You use these colors to blend a very natural looking foundation base.

The makeup is applied by gently tap, tap, tapping your brush into the makeup and then brushing it lightly over your skin. Move the brush quickly over your skin. The first time you apply the makeup plan to just “play” with the makeup and not actually to need to be somewhere — so you can wipe the makeup off and start over if you need to. Most women may need to get used to how the Kabuki brush feels in their hand and exactly how much of a foundation base to apply.

The other makeup is applied the same way. The best tip to keep in mind is to begin with a light touch and then to add more to see if you like the look. One of the best benefits about mineral makeup is that it blends so quickly and naturally on your skin. However, this also means to fix your face if you don’t like your look, you will most likely need to take off all of your makeup.

So many women are turning to mineral makeup because they hear it is healthier for their skin. However, they stay because this makeup feels wonderful — and it makes their complexion look so radiant and natural. This is the ideal makeup if you are seeking a natural looking face.
