Since the basis of skin restoration is protein, this polypeptide facilitates the regeneration of the skin’s cells with the moisture barrier of the skin still intact and even strengthened. The resulting skin is softer, more supple, and renewed.
A survey done on about 200 women about the effects of Pal-KTTKS aminopeptide gave positive results against a comparison with retinol. The survey showed that a low concentration of this aminopeptide, lower than that of retinol which is the most popular treatment for aging skin, delivered the same results but not the irritation that comes with it. It also reported a significant diminishing in wrinkles and age spots, firming the skin even more, without any side effects.
